Dixon MowersDixon has a range of sit-on mowers. All Dixon mowers come with their renowned “patented zero turn transaxle” which they claim enables a tighter and more efficient turning circle. Dixon Mowers or more correctly Dixon-ZTR mowers come in three types:
The choice obviously depends on the type of jobs you wish to complete. For those wishing to purchase for private use the suburban range would probably be adequate. Within the suburban range there are another two types those with hypostatic transmission appropriately given the HL coding. Prices range from between $2,100 through to approximately three and a half thousand US . The recommended size area for this range is between: 1 through to 2 acres. The Estate mowers (range from $3,500-5,100 US) all feature the hydrostatic transmissions or if chosen can be up-graded to include more powerful engines. Again this will depend on the work that is needed to be completed. A number of other additional options can be selected from including improved seating, different tyres and/or lights. The size of the jobs for this range should ideally be between 1-2 acres. Finally the last range of mowers available from Dixon are the professional range. These are high grade commercial vehicles and cost between $6,100 to $10,000 US.
