Case Tractors
In 1853 Case & Co. became the new name for the company with Case joining with three new business partners. Production of the first Case tractors commenced in 1869. This was still reliant on the use of horse power to move it, but by 1878 the first of the steam engine tractors were being built for commercial selling. After this time there was a considerable gap in which time Case when through a series of model releases, but it wasn’t until 1918 that Case began consistent production of tractors that help establish their name in terms of being renowned for farming equipment that was both reliable and ergonomic. Today, Case is sold globally through exclusive Case distributors. Whatsmore, Case continues to make their renowned tractors in North America and profess to manufacture agricultural equipment of the highest standards.

Case tractors are so named after their original manufacturer: Jerome Increase Case who began his business back in 1842 with the Case Threshing Machine Co in Rochester , Wisconsin . Case tractors, like their contemporaries Ford and Deere, has a history steeped in farming culture with the result that it supplies a full range of agricultural equipment ranging from its tractors (32 models), harvesters, hay and foraging machinery, power units to their seeding and tillage machinery.
